Mr. Bailey joined Power Integrations in November 2004 as vice president of marketing. Prior to joining PI, Mr. Bailey served as vice president of marketing at ChipX, a structured ASIC company. His earlier experience includes Business Management and Marketing Consultant for Sapiential Prime, Inc.., Director of Sales and Business Unit Manager for 8x8, Inc., application engineering management for IIT, Inc. and design engineering roles with LSI Logic, Inmos, Ltd. and Marconi.
Ann-Marie joined Murata Power Solutions in 1997. She has a BEng (Hons) Electronics degree from the University of Central Lancashire. Her role is global and involves all aspects of technical and commercial product management. Ann-Marie has worked in the Power industry for over 25 years.
Thierry Bouchet graduated with a PhD in Electrical Engineering in 2001 and worked for IBS (Ion Beam Services) and Atmel, two semiconductor companies. In 2011, Thierry created a fabless start-up (ADIS) in the area of power electronics for niche market. He joined CEA Leti in 2014 and worked on GaN components development before becoming Strategic Marketing Manager for energy and power electronics.
He is today the CEO of Wise Integration, a startup he launched in 2020, for the ultimate power supply miniaturization solution using GaN Integrated circuits and digital control.
Dilder Chowdhury has worked in semiconductors for over 24 years, first joining Nexperia’s Innovation team, then moving to Marketing and the role as Architect for Power GaN technology in Manchester. His current role is Director, Strategic Marketing for Power GaN technology. His job encompasses everything from device physics down to packaging and end-products, where Nexperia investigates and combines all the value that our company can add to the offering of GaN and GaN-related packages, products and modules. It is a strategic approach designed to bring the best without compromising the robustness and quality.
Dr. Gerald Deboy received the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in physics from the Technical University Munich in 1991 and 1996 respectively. He joined Siemens Corporate Research and Development in 1992 and the Semiconductor Division of Siemens in 1995, which became Infineon Technologies later on. His research interests were focused on the development of new device concepts for power electronics, especially the revolutionary CoolMOS™ technology. From 2004 onward he was heading the Technical marketing department for power semiconductors and ICs within the Infineon Technologies Austria AG. Since 2009 he is leading a business development group specializing on new fields for power electronics. He is a Sr. member of IEEE and has served as a member of the Technical Committee for Power Devices and Integrated Circuits within the Electron Device Society. He has authored and coauthored more than 100 papers in national and international journals including contributions to three student text books. He holds currently more than 100 granted international patents and has more applications pending.
Filippo Di Giovanni is currently Strategic Marketing, Innovation and Key Programs Manager within the Power Transistor MACRO Division at ST, based in Catania, Italy. As Technical Marketing Manager, he helped to introduce the first strip-based MOSFETs, and at the end of the nineties, he coordinated the development of “Super-junction” high-voltage MOSFETs (MDmeshTM), a real breakthrough in silicon power semiconductors. In 2012, he was placed in charge of the development of the first 1,200V silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs, which have enabled ST to become today undisputable market leader and one of the main suppliers in various fields of applications, including the growing EV (electrical vehicle) market. Dr. Di Giovanni’s experience also includes working on gallium nitride on silicon (GaN-on-Si) HEMT for both power conversion and RF domains. Regularly invited to participate in various conferences and workshops dedicated to power conversion, he also coordinates European projects and is a key member of an ST workgroup handling the collaborative development of GaN-on-Si with ST’s important industry partners.
Mark Drucker is Chief Executive Officer at Silanna Semiconductor North America, Inc. He was a co-founder of IO Semiconductor which was acquired by The Silanna Group in 2012. Mr. Drucker has 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, 23 of which have been in executive management. His management experience encompasses executive roles in Product Development, Marketing, Operations, and Quality. Prior to IO Semiconductor Mr. Drucker held executive management positions at Semtech Corporation (via its acquisition of Edge Semiconductor) and Brooktree Corporation. Mr. Drucker earned a B.S.E.E. from the University of Michigan.
Hassane El-Khoury serves as a Director of onsemi Corporation and is President and Chief Executive Officer of onsemi and Semiconductor Components Industries, LLC since December 2020. Hassane El-Khoury is a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience in the technology sector. His career has fostered a deep understanding of customer and design requirements in the automotive and industrial markets, as well as a systems-level understanding to form integrated customer solutions and business strategy to drive results. Prior to joining onsemi, El-Khoury served most recently as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors at Cypress Semiconductor until its sale to Infineon in April 2020. Under El-Khoury’s leadership, Cypress underwent a significant transformation from a founder-led semiconductor company to a cutting-edge organization that broke down barriers and embraced customer and industry problems instead of running away from them. Cypress 3.0, the foundation of El-Khoury’s strategy, not only redirected the company to target markets growing faster than the semiconductor market but embraced innovation from within while empowering his global team to think beyond current limits and challenge the status quo.
Mr. Ionesco Catrina joined Power Integrations in June 2018 as Product Marketing Manager. Prior to joining PI, he led smart-home activities at Renesas, providing a strategic focus on home appliances. He also gained extensive experience in supporting microcontroller-based solutions during his tenure with Philips/NXP in Germany.
Mr. Cesar Johnston joined Energous in July 2014 and serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. Cesar is a seasoned technologist, entrepreneur, and investor. Prior to Energous, Cesar has had a broad experience in large enterprises and startups. He has previously served as Vice President of Engineering for Wireless Connectivity at Marvell Semiconductor. During his time with Marvell, Cesar led Marvell’s worldwide R&D and development of all Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, and NFC products. Prior to Marvell, Cesar drove technology innovation at Broadcom responsible for 802.11g and 802.11n products.
Cesar has over 20 years of experience working across hardware, software, and services and is recognized as a pioneer in the technology development of multiple first-of generations of SISO and MIMO wireless products. He serves on the CTO Council for the Global Semiconductor Alliance, is an IEEE Senior Member, and is an advisory board member to KINS Technology Group. He also has written over 40 conference and journal papers and holds 29 patents.
Cesar holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and holds a Certificate of Business Excellence (COBE) from the University of California, Berkeley.
Edward A. Jones is a Principal Engineer in GaN applications with Infineon Technologies. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers, many application notes, professional education seminars, and a book, all in the field of wide bandgap semiconductors and GaN-based converter design.
Anand Kannan is responsible for product marketing and business development for Infineon´s wired connectivity solutions, focusing specifically on USB Power Delivery products. He has over 15 years of experience across multiple disciplines in the semiconductor industry, including System Architecture, application engineering, product marketing, and business development, and holds BSEE and MSEE degrees.
Matthias Kasper received the M.sc. and Dr.sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. In his PhD at the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory at ETH Zurich he dealt with multi-cell converter systems for different applications. Since January 2017 he is part of the Systems Innovations Lab of Infineon Technologies Austria AG where he works on novel topologies, control schemes, and multi-objective optimization routines. He has authored and co-authored more than 20 scientific publications and holds 12 international patents.
Kevin has 12 years experience with power electronics in different roles (R&D, AE, FAE, Sales, Marketing). Today he is Application Marketing Manager for automotive e-powertrain (Traction Inverter, Onboard Chargers). His focus products are SiC MOSFETs (bare die, discretes and power modules) and Gate driver.
Alex Lidow is CEO and co-founder of Efficient Power Conversion Corporation (EPC). Prior to founding EPC, Dr. Lidow was CEO of International Rectifier Corporation. A co-inventor of the HEXFET power MOSFET, Dr. Lidow holds many patents in power semiconductor technology and has authored numerous publications on related subjects, including co-authoring the first textbook on GaN transistors, GaN Transistors for Efficient Power Conversion, now in its third edition published by John Wiley and Sons. Lidow earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Caltech and his Ph.D. from Stanford.
Aly Mashaly finished his Bachelor in the year 2000 in electrical engineering at the University of Ain Shams, Egypt. He worked as consultant in the field of Power electronics for different industrial companies and factories in Egypt from 2000 – 2002. From 2003 - 2005 he Studied Master of Science of electrical engineering at the University of Hanover and worked as an academic staff at the University of Hanover between 2005 – 2007 in the institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics. From 2007 – 2011 he worked as R&D Engineer Power electronics in the field of avionics at Liebherr Elektronik GmbH, from 2011- 2015 he got promoted to R&D Manager of eMobility for commercial vehicles, KEB GmbH , Germany. He is now Director Automotive Application & Power Systems at ROHM Semiconductor GmbH. Aly Mashaly is a holder of many Patents in the field of Power electronics and Mechatronics and Author of more than 30 technical articles and papers.
Guy Moxey has spent his entire career in the power semiconductor industry with roles in applications, product marketing, product line management and business unit leadership. His career has included employment at International Rectifier, Siliconix and Fairchild Semiconductor. Mr Moxey currently serves as the Senior Director of Power Marketing for Wolfspeed. He received his B.Eng (Hons) in electrical/electronic engineering from the University of Brighton and his MSc in power electronics from the University of Birmingham.
Martin Murnane leads the Energy Storage Systems and Application team at Analog Devices in Limerick, Ireland. He has a long history in hardware and software development from household appliances, energy recycling systems, data base and Windows applications along with a significant product development background. He holds an Honours degree in Electronic Engineering and a Masters degree in Business from the University of Limerick.
Vy Nguyen is a Senior Product Marketing Engineer from Cloud Datacenter and Communications Power Business Unit at Analog Devices. She is significantly involved in the development and new product introduction of high-power density voltage regulators for these focused markets. She also carries experience in complete end-to-end semiconductor supply chain operations and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Stephen has over 25 years of experience in the power semiconductor and power supply industries worldwide. Most recently, Stephen served as VP of the VI Chip product line at Vicor, creating over $200M in revenue with blue chip server, telecom, industrial and defense companies. Prior to that he was with Motorola, Philips (NXP) and International Rectifier (Infineon). Stephen holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Manchester University (UK) and an MBA in Global Marketing & Strategy from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Stephen holds several patents in power semiconductors, and is a Chartered Engineer. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Power Source Manufacturers’ Association (PSMA), after having been VP, President and Chairman.
Head of B2B Sales and Business Development with experience working inside emerging technologies in engineering companies, both Automotive and Industrial. Over the course of my career, I moved from a purely technical role to the management of the development process of complex projects / products and engineering services. I've managed business units, and spearheaded business development in various senior-level positions. Prior to joining the team at Eggtronic I served as a Head Of Biz Dev MetaSystem SPA, with a specific focus on the OBC ( AC /DC & DC /DC ) units for cars.
Safari has been a Field Application Engineer for industrial products (e.g. isolators, encoders, fiber optics) at Broadcom since 2017. He has been instrumental in setting many new designs and initiatives that helped grow Broadcom’s industrial product business in Europe. His power electronics experience includes the design of direct SiC AC/AC converters for power distribution networks, and DC/DC and AC/DC power electronic converters for the automotive industry. Saeed Safari holds a Ph.D in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Nottingham, U.K.
As part of the Automotive EV Traction solutions business unit, Pietro leads the PLM team in the assigned regions and WW activities. The scope is to define and develop new Si and SiC Power Module and Bare Die portfolio in response to market demand, and specific business engagements, considering system solutions as well on top of the dedicated semiconductors, in cooperation with all the OEMs and Tier1 investing in electric vehicles. Previously at Cree/Wolfspeed, he was leading the regional BU Marketing and Application effort for Discrete, Power Modules and Die, in both Automotive and Industrial markets. He worked almost 11 years at Texas Instruments with a break of about a year with Fairchild where he had worldwide ownership of marketing and business development for Cloud Power solutions. At TI, his Business Development responsibilities remained centered on Power products with application focus swinging from Telecommunications, leveraging his earlier career in Siemens, Ericsson and ST Microelectronics, to Automotive systems. In his last years at TI, the activity of his system engineering team was focused on HEV-EV Automotive market sector, developing specific system expertise and contributing the development of new power parts and collaterals, dedicated to the OBC, DCDC and Inverter End Equipment.
Steve Shultis has an outstanding track record of delivering results in both sales and business leadership positions over his more than 20 years in the semiconductor and electronics industries. His most recent roles included VP & GM at Foxconn Interconnect Technologies and Sr. Director of Marketing & Sales at Foxconn Optical Interconnect Technologies where he managed half a US$ billion in revenues. Steve has been recognized for his achievements in sales and marketing leadership roles at Avago Technologies, Lattice Semiconductor, and Future Electronics with extensive international experience in China, APAC, North America, and Europe. Steve holds a BSEE from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mario Ursino received a B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering and M.S. degree in Robotics and Industrial Automation from the University of Udine, Italy, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. In 2019, at the same University, he received his Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Information Engineering working with STmicroelectronics of Agrate, Italy. He had several collaborations with STmicroelectronics, Infineon Technologies, Google Inc. and CERN. During his Ph.D. he published several articles in international conferences and journals. He is currently a System Innovation Engineer in Infineon Technologies Austria, developing very high-density DC–DC topologies for AI data-center applications, ranging from intermediate bus converters to point-of-load converters. His interests also include planar electromagnetic research, power system automatic control, power integrity analysis and wireless power transfer.
ohn Wilson is a Senior Product Line Manager who focuses on automotive applications of power isolation semiconductors in the Power Business Unit of Skyworks, Inc. He has done product engineering, competitive intelligence, applications engineering and marketing and has worked on processors, memory, mobile, and power products for several semiconductor companies. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BSEE and an MS in Technology Commercialization. John lives in central Texas, works in Austin, and holds 3 US patents.
